Demoparty
— a meeting of demoscene related people and their friends during which competitions are run in several categories.Parties have been organized in Poland for 27 years. Our team worked on dozens of demoscene events in Poland and abroad. Xenium is a spiritual successor of Riverwash traditions and we are dedicated to carry the torch with great distinction.
Why you should submit an entry for Xenium
We believe that non-commercial, fair-play competitions are the essence of demoscene and executable prods are the gist of it. That is why we have a dedicated compo team responsible for playing and showing your entry in the best possible way and quality. We have been gathering our hardware and improving our entry workflow system for years.
You will be able to vote through our dedicated voter app over the local network, all streamlined in order to make the submission, voting and counting as easy and quick as possible.
Our goals are: quality, no delays, no technical difficulties during the compos and the results announced on time.
Why you should come to Xenium
To bring your entry, of course! But even if you are not taking part in the compos, come to meet demosceners and feel the unique atmosphere of a Polish demoparty.
For 20 years we have been organizing demoscene events (for 10 years we co-organized Riverwash). For over 20 years we've been attending and supporting demoscene events — both in Poland and abroad. As experienced hosts we are able to organize a good party for demosceners.

What not to expect
- Gaming/retro — if you are a gamer or retro-user who is not interested in the demoscene, this is not a party for you. We recommend to visit another event focused on gaming and retro computing, like Pixel Heaven, Decrunch or RetroKomp.

Commerce — we do not have sponsors nor we are looking for them.
In our experience, commerce and demoscene do not mix well and we prefer to keep it clear.
That is why you should not expect high prizes in the compos.
The winners get commemorative statuettes and take their rightful places among the greatest in the hall of fame and that is all. For us, the demoscene is all about satisfaction and fame (groupies!), not money. - Emulators — we consider hardware limitations to be the essence of the demoscene. We run all entries on real hardware. If your prod doesn't run there, you will have a choice: move it to the wild compo or withdraw it.
